On Premises: Flatwork Finishers

Heating - Finishers are equipped with a full length multi-port burner for even heat distribution and maximum efficiency. Pilotless ignition system saves energy and is safe to operate. Conversion from natural gas to L.P. gas requires only one orifice change.

Steam heated models are virtually maintenance free since energy to heat is provided by an outside source.

Electrically heated models have specially designed heating elements combined with heat reflectors to ensure maximum efficiency, extended heater life and minimum operating cost.

SensMaticTM Control - Automatic energy saver system standard on all gas and electrically heated machines. Machine heat circuit is automatically shut down after 20 minutes if not operated. Results in energy savings, extended machine life and reduced textile wear.

Optional SensMatic II monitoring will automatically shut entire machine down if machine is left unattended for 20 minutes after the heat has turned off.

Heat Control - Extremely accurate snap action thermostat ensures accurate control of all types of work (Gas and electrically heated machines only).

Electrical Controls - All control circuits operate on 24 volts to ensure operator safety. Magnetic contactor provided for control of motor. Drive motor is thermally protected.

Frames - All steel-welded construction.

Pressing Roll - Constructed from heavy gauge and polished to mirror-like finish.

Padding - All Nomex TM* pad and cover cloth are provided to produce fine finish and ensure long life.

Automatic Feeding Device - Work to be finished is simply placed on an automatic conveyor which takes it to the heating and pressing area for neat, fast finishing.

Bearings - To ensure smooth operation and long life, all rolls operate in or on either roller bearings or ball bearings.

Finishing Pressure - Pressure is automatically controlled by heavy tension springs. Pressure is adjustable to compensate for padding variations.

Finish - Entire machine is finished with a high grade machine enamel.

Limited Parts Warranty** - One year parts only on entire machine except padding, ribbons, gaskets and belts. Two years parts only on SensMaticTM control and five years parts only on frame, heated roll, pressure roll and all conveyor rolls.
